I am a little torn about christmas decorations.
I am the type of person who was so used to moving a lot and housing insecurity that I was very hesitant to get things that seemed extraneous and lug them around.
But I've been in this apartment nearly ten years!
Why not get a christmas tree?

I went out and bought a bunch of different quarts of fresh soup because this weather made me really feel cozy. I have a few days to myself in the house and I just want to curl up and eat soup.

One of the reasons I collect so many books and keep a library is that when I was much younger (during the bush years) I'd find some book or another and ask "you think they'd burn this?"
My bookworm tendencies have some slight paranoid tinge but it means I saved a lot of books.
