An active thread on the eBay discussion boards shows how difficult it is for sellers to report problems and get them resolved. In this case, it was a battle to get eBay to credit their accounts for an apparent glitch that may have impacted many more.

A lot of comments on Mars rovers or Moon landings, but it's important to remember that the planet NASA studies most is Earth. This is less about cutting flashy things like moonwalks and more about keeping communities in the dark on climate, weather, agriculture, pollution, natural hazards, and more.

It’s #WorldThrombosisDay. I woke up with a DVT one morning in 2019 and discovered I have May-Thurner syndrome, an anatomical anomaly that compresses the iliac vein. A stent was inserted to correct the anomaly. Here’s my #SciArt #embroidery of that experience: deep dilation (2025)

A pelvis with lumbar vertebrae is stitched in thick backstitch in a white just slightly bluer than the white linen. Part of the iliac vein is outlined in grey-green stem stitch. A section on the left branch is outlined in darker grey-green split stitch with a honeycomb filling stitch stent on it.
