Re-introduction since I have surprisingly gotten an influx of new follows. I make music that is mostly long and boring and weird using guitars and piano and synths and computers and what ever else I can find in my studio.

Low’s Things We Lost in the Fire Turns 25
One of my hottest music takes is that Low – the notoriously quiet, understated, slowcore pioneers from Duluth, Minnesota, who happen to be Mormon – may be one of the five greatest American bands. Betw...

I thought I had put on this recording but after the second song and the banter was mostly swearing Australian person I realized I had been listening to one of the Dirty Three recordings recently uploaded.

Seeing two films this weekend in theaters:
Today: @musicboxtheatre.bsky.social 70mm print of The testament of Ann Lee
Tomorrow: @alamodrafthouse.bsky.social Resurrection (I think this one is digital)

Watched Tarkovsky “Mirror” last night.
Which means we should watch something fun on Monday.

Milwaukee Ave southbound bike lanes are not great! If you don’t have a great deal of confidence and experience riding ice/snow/sand, I wouldn’t! I made it downtown safely from Avondale but there were a few very sketchy moments. Ice ruts are the worst of it. #bikechi

the inability for ppl to think through the simpliest thing:
we have a simple drip coffee machine in the office and 2 younger folks have asked "how do you use this"
really? fill it with water. check the filter. set the # of cups to the amount of water you added. hit the big button that says "brew"

Genesee
(honorable mention: erie canal
yes its a canal and not a river. but it has its own song which should account for something )
My favorite Twitter prompt was "RT this with your home river," so reskeet this with your home river.

Mine is the Patuxent.
