LISTMAS HAS BEGUN! It's the most wonderful time of year.

In typical fashion, we're posting a favorite-of-the-year list long after people have stopped caring about that sort of thing. Here's my Favorite Album Artwork of 2024!

(sagely) there are three genres. Music that is "fun," music that is "boring," and music that is regrettably neither of those things.

I find myself craving, as of late, the abyssal void of minimalistic sonic oblivion.

Drop those drone recommendations below!

I can't claim to come from a food culture that is anything more than "generally bland," but my folks were kinda cooking when it comes to the sheer amount of winter squash in their diet. Squash is excellent.

seeing a lot of people announcing black friday sales and i'm pleased to also announce that all of scoured's music is free this week

it was also free for the past year and will be free for the foreseeable future but hey, hard to have a sale from zero

This track was always rich and poignant, but it hits so much harder after Ka's untimely passing. He was a god lyricist and a master of understated delivery.

#NowPlaying (again)

Next highlight of the year: a positively delicious mix of Black-, Power- and ThrashMetal by @allieinchains.bsky.social with @vanessafunke.bsky.social on vocals.
It's engaging, relatable, appropriately moody and just perfectly executed by everyone involved.
Amazing stuff!

ALBUM PREMIERE!

BORN OF PLAGUES - Dead Endings

Born of Plagues play an intriguing brand of death-doom that feels as funereal and moody as it is brawny and sludgy.
