I remember when sharing WIPs used to motivate me to finish, but since abandoning, then deleting my twitter, that serotonine machine ran out.

Epic sanctioned remakes and "community" RTX remixes always sacrifice original intent for something investors can consume and easily understand as an "upgrade" worthy of their money. Nothing more.

GIt for game artists? Just say 'no', or walk out of the production if you can afford to. It is not worth your suffering. If the ship doesn't sink it is because you are the ones bailing out the water, rather than working.
Just to restate my stance.
1. I have seen several projects collapse due to forcing artists to use GIT for art assets.
2. Artists need instant sharing of latest by timestamp, never merges.
3. Art resource files are massive. PSD files, Substance files and Zbrush files are hecking huge...
