ICE agents are America's failures, basically indistinguishable from lazy school shooters, losers who want to play Call of Duty on our streets against people who can't fight back. They have unlimited ammo and toss tear gas like they're pressing L1. They have to be defunded and jailed. All of them.

I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening.

The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.

I remember a few Mariners games back in the Kingdome when Randy would just casually strike out nineteen batters.
To rejuvenate the baseball spirits with spring training starting soon, quote skeet this with a random baseball player.

Performing my yearly search for a psych counselor who takes Medicare and does telehealth (mainly). Last year I couldn’t find anyone to take Medicare, let alone do both.

Anyone have a recommendation for a home printer that will print Apple AirPrint docs from my iphone? I have an older HP but it doesn’t do AirPrint. Looking on Amazon, it’s unclear which brands or models actually have AirPrint available.

Any clues? Ideas? I could just go to a print shop, I suppose.

I have but one New Year’s resolution—By god I will train this little doggie of mine so she can spend time away from me, take commands from other people, and also learn to not to have a poopy freak out at brand new noises and situations. Price is no object. I need a real trainer. I’m not cutting it.

This is where sometimes the extreme pro-urbanism people lose me. Pricing postal service at cost to remote areas is the same as removing postal service to remote areas, which is the same as killing remote areas. The positive argument for universal postal service is universal postal service.
sure, but what's the positive argument for state subsidy of package delivery to low-density / remote areas?

I hate to ruin it, but 2026 is going to suck worse than 2025. Just wait for the fallout from the midterm elections.
What a relief to see 2025 in the rear-view mirror. Count me among those optimistic that 2026, America’s 250th anniversary year, will be the opportunity to prove that most Americans won’t let a depraved and malignant despot destroy our beloved country and end our democratic project.

Happy New Year!

Honestly we did a pretty good job of predicting. All we missed out on was the fascist takeover of the government.

I haven’t been sick with anything since 2020, not even a cold, but it seems my luck has ran out, flu-wise, in any case.
