#TeleTuesday My self-built partscaster made from a Fender neck (Chinese, Modern Player series) and a GFS body, pickups, and parts. The best Tele I’ve ever played and I’m never selling it.
The neck is from a pawnshop find that cost me $100. I sold the loaded body for $175, so the neck cost me -$75.

While Gibson designed the Moderne back in 1958, I believe, along with the Explorer and Flying V, they were not the first to create a retail version of the guitar. Fujigen Gakki, a Japanese guitar maker, produced copies of all three back in 1974.

Are Canadian nickels still magnetic? I have one from 1977 that stuck itself to my watch charger. I think they were 100% Ni back then and thus magnetic, whereas US nickels were (and are) 75% copper and 25% nickel. Not enough nickel to attract the magnet.
And what about Canadian quarters?
