A big part of my RPG collecting started during the PS1 era because so few seemed to make it to the US during the SNES/Genesis era. I remember how we would download fan-translated ROMs like Seiken Densetsu 3 (Mana).

#MegaMan Legends 2 was out 25 years ago (2000)! With gameplay that's twice as fierce as the first game, and a story that's *thrice* as confusing – MML2 was a bold upgrade and trajectory for the series... Immediately shot down when we lost MML3... 🙁
