I wonder if there were any directors who were masters of the VT multi-camera style who didn’t or couldn’t make the transition to the modern style?

Graeme Harper obviously did, but I l’ve been pondering if there were any people who chucked the job in as a result or just didn’t take to it…

I’ve been watching The Bill from the start. My favourite scenes by far are those involving Brownlow and Conway.

No, YOU shut up.

Tomatoes don’t have blood.

Although I suspect that Count Duckula would probably go for this.

The way the band is getting together in Riot Women seems very contrived.

I’m going to argue against myself here, but early The Bill was single camera and rehearse-record, but still worked on VT.

I suppose it’s got to be a financial thing - if they aren’t contracted for rehearsal then they aren’t on the books for so long. Which is a great shame.

I think another thing important thing that has been lost too is rehearsal. Now it’s all rehearse-record. There are the same amount of hours in a day, yet the entire rehearsal process has been dispensed with.

I’ve been watching Nine Bodies too, and the first thing I thought was that’s like ‘Kinda’.

If you’ve in any way appreciated all of the TOP QUALITY comedy content that I’ve supplied tonight, then I don’t want you to buy me a coffee.

But it would be lovely if you’d consider signing up to help out my football team when you shop. It costs you NOTHING. Thank you.

I’m doing well. I’ve only seen the U.K. Gold advert for the Fawlty Towers stage play ONCE today.
