Video game writer-designer on SWTOR by day, comic book writer by night. Anti-fascist, pro-compassion.
I love Neil Diamond's music, and I love Hugh Jackman. But I've decided that in my head canon this is a prequel to the first X-Men movie.

Literally buying one copy of a book at your local indie bookstore can mean the difference in whether they buy future books from that author.

Continuing to inject comic book goodness into your doomscrolling via covers featuring characters I like.

I've always loved Adam Strange's classic spaceman hero look - all you need is a jetpack, laser pistol, smarts, and guts!

(Needless to say, I'm not a fan of a recent maxiseries featuring Adam.)

The Boston Globe identified the companies in Massachusetts that employ the most SNAP recipients. A key stat: "In Massachusetts, 74% of working-age recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are employed, half of them full-time."

I don't think Chuck Daly gets enough credit for his coaching in getting these guys to all play as a team (which not all future Team USA squads did).
An assemblage of the greatest basketball talent on the planet in 1992.

And Christian Laettner is there too.

This is such good, fun series. Great writing by Robinson and art by Paul Smith and team. Highly recommended.

In the interest of intellectual honesty, the refs have blown a couple of calls in favor of the Lions, which I am okay with.
Refs apparently in the Packers' pocket today. Cool cool

I'll always support Dan Campbell going for it on 4th down, but that was a HORRIBLE play call. Predictable and easily stopped. Ugh.

Speaking of...questionable hockey unis, is it time for the Vancouver Canucks to bring back their disco flying V unis?

(No. No it is not. Oh, who am I kidding it, I'd love it if they did.)

This series has an amazing 80s premise, but unfortunately kind of goes off the rails past a certain point. But the initial miniseries is pretty danged good.

You’re kidnapped. The characters from the last show you watched are coming to rescue you.

Heh. My kidnappers are so fucked.

This is stunning -- an absolute must-read: "if you measured income inadequacy today the way [it was] measured it in 1963, the threshold for a family of four wouldn’t be $31,200.

It would be somewhere between $130,000 and $150,000.

US holiday sees an increase in new writers wanting to make comics so I tried to take new writers through an easy step by step process with examples on how to turn their idea into a script.

Also a few scripts on there available for artists to practice or collabs.
