In some ways it shared same flaw as Killers of the Flower Moon, by centering Leo, especially as losers, you have to flatten the non-white women who are the plot while through the lens of white male filmmakers who feel the need to redeem whiteness while they seek to also vilify it.

It really can't be said enough: the goal of the "anti-woke" movement was always to destroy social norms against bigotry. And it worked. And there's a whole lot of purportedly "left" thinkers & commentators who helped it -- indeed, it couldn't have been done without them.

NEW—US Department of Education sent out standard Out of Office language to employees on Wednesday in light of shutdown. Later yesterday, workers tell me they found someone had updated their auto-responses without consent to a new one blaming Democrats.
