Earlier this week watching Rob Reiner's The Sure Thing, I saw that his DP for that film was none other than a (young) Robert Elswit -- as in PTA's go-to cinematographer; I know he's won at least one Oscar.
RR not only had an eye for talent in front of the camera, but also behind it.

Well, the price of dairy, beef, eggs, poultry, produce, bread, beverages, paper towels, and soaps/shampoos have gone through the roof in the last year, thanks in no small part to idiot tariffs and lack of regulation.
But holy shit is bourbon cheap. So I guess we got that goin' for us.

The horn-blasting bridge on this song is one of the greatest things ever recorded. It sounds like Judgment Day. And it's Jimmy Vivino, Mark Pender, and La Bamba who'd go on to be in Conan's band for years. Will be cool to see them together again backing up Darlene Love one more time...
