I was driving down the highway and saw a huge billboard lit up in the distance. I spent a good 20 seconds squinting at it, trying to make out what it said, and when I got close enough I could make out the words: “Don’t drive distracted.”

It's been about a year since I ditched all Meta platforms. Despite all the terrible things we witnessed in 2025, it has still been better to exist without the burden of an algorithmic storm cloud persistently bogging down my subconscious. We don't need these platforms, and we never did.
Meta halted internal research that purportedly showed (young) people who stopped using Facebook became less depressed and anxious, according to an unredacted legal filing released on Friday. www.cnbc.com/2025/11/23/m...

The year was 2006. My friend Andrew and I had the crazy idea to do a one-day North Shore Roast Beef tour-something presumably never attempted before. Nearly 20 years later, the torch has been passed to @joshgondelman.bsky.social and @wgbh.org, and they sure did it right. Check out their video below!

Auspicious Brew just turned 5 this year and has played such a pivotal role in the Seacoast community, especially coming out of the pandemic. The interview they did with @onequickthingpod.bsky.social last week is such a joy to watch: youtu.be/tGoKUMKBYag?...

Our neighbors @keenemutualaid.bsky.social , Littleton Area Mutual Aid, Lowell Mutual Aid, @warmupboston.bsky.social , Mutual Aid Medford & Somerville, @maineneeds.bsky.social are great too! Give them a look
Mutual aid groups, food banks, etc are about to be under even more pressure in the US.

Post your local one's donation link here, and if you're seeing this, and you can spare a few bucks, pick one two to give to.
