Reposting this link to my conversation with Ben Kweller and Rocky Votolato about losing kids. I'll have a new episode with another father who lost a child coming next week. It may be a heavy subject matter, but I hope you'll give a listen.

This is fantastic. Listened a few times already today.
It's BANDCAMP FRIDAY! And to celebrate, I've put out an album of instrumental funk and soul jams built on samples, loops, and some honest-to-god actual playing of instruments. If you're a fan of Colemine or Daptone Records, you might dig it.

The post is APPALLING and maybe the most racist thing I’ve seen come out of this presidency—which is saying something.

I think it should probably be a bigger story that the president of the United States is a raving lunatic
Trump at the National Prayer Breakfast: "We hit 'em. And we want to hit 'em right, sir, and we want to hit them from the top! East, west, north, south. Sir, they won't know what the hell! And we'll knock them out. We did it politically correct. Five years."

This was SO good. Hit ALL the nostalgia feels, didn't try to modernize or anything. I really hope it's successful and gets more episodes.
I can't even pretend to act cool about this. I am freaking right on out, fam

I need them too
Exactly what I hoped it would be, aside from not being two, three times as long. They didn't "update" the show; it's just The Muppet Show done in 2026 is all. I love it and wish so very much that we get more of it. The world needs Muppets now.
*I* need them. And I know I am not alone.

“Even in this crazy environment and in these crazy times, I feel like a really fortunate person, because I love my family so much. And so, I was just trying to juggle those two emotions, where half the record is what the hell is happening? But the other half is love.”

You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.

"We can't just go by what we saw on videos on social media." That's EXACTLY what I'm going by and I saw an American citizen holding a cell phone in his hand and trying to help someone who was shoved to the ground get executed. How dare you, Senator. How dare you.
Sen. Hoeven: "We can't just go by what we saw on videos on social media. We've got to get the facts. But in a situation where an individual appears to have approached law enforcement, intervened while they're trying to do their job, and he has a loaded handgun, think about that."

The newest video shows very clearly that they attacked him for coming to an aid of a woman that the agents pushed, and then executed him while he was immobilized. Everything the government has said, like with Good, has been a complete lie.
