The people were on our side. We were building momentum to help save our democracy. We could have won - the premium increase notices were just starting.

I was feeling more optimistic than I've been for a year. The cave by D Senators has me back to grim. If you don't fight for your party's signature achievement of the last 25 years, why fight at all?
