Facinating that over two centuries ago the founders clearly saw today, but today, few see today, for what it is.

I think we have a constitutional crisis when we have a government that willingly defies the law repeatedly.
And, when the executive branch has eviscerated any independence of our DOJ + misuses our tax dollars as if it were his personally retained lawfirm to use against We the People. #ImpeachTrump

The president bulldozed the East Wing to make way for a Trump ballroom. Paved over the rose garden for a Mar-a-Lago patio. Plans to print his face on a US coin.

…and now he has superimposed his name on another president’s legacy.

104 murders in 107 days
The Trump administration's drug boat campaign has assassinated about one person each day since early September. These are murders, and our basic humanity demands that we not get complacent about them.

Odd, coming from a rural state. Meanwhile, Montana hospitals face severe financial risks due to low reimbursements, staffing shortages, & potential Medicaid cuts from recent GOP legislation. Hospitals in Poplar, Hardin + Polson at risk of closures threatening essential services.
Montana Republican Rep. Ryan Zinke says their plan is to “REDUCE OVERALL CARE” 🤔

At least he’s honest!

The law of war is fine to discuss and Sen. Reed makes salient points, but I must ask: What war?
What the hell is Trump doing? No consultation with Congress, no authorization for use of force, just an emotionally unstable POTUS making rash decisions along with a Fox News lackey at Defense.
Sen. Jack Reed: "I must remind everyone that we follow the law of war, and because of that, we expect other countries. So that when our service members are in distress, they're not shot up in the water or if they're wounded, left to die. If we don't do it, then we can't expect other countries."

Yes. Republicans are well aware of the political implications of the agenda. That is why we should all be vigilant about what comes next to control the political processes. The does anyone believe the party that murders for propaganda or and openly defies the constitution is going to allow change.
Enten on Trump being 40 points underwater on healthcare: "That is gosh darn awful! It's horrendous ... the bottom line is Americans very much dislike Donald Trump on healthcare ... this is just awful politics for Republicans ... they don't buy the Republican spin at all"

No pardon power. Raise the stakes. Why would a country that supposedly is base on the rule of law sanction a court of law? Further isolation and the walls will eventually close in.
The threats by Trump against the International Criminal Court in The Hague is a clear indication that he KNOWS he and members of his administration are violating international law, committing war crimes, and vulnerable to prosecution.
Commit crimes? Threaten judges.

I know we’ve been talking about the 25th Amendment being invoked for years now, but we should probably be talking about it a lot more and a lot more seriously right now.
Couple of things here:

1. Trump says he took another cognitive test recently

2. In front of "large numbers of doctors and experts"

3. He called the examinations "long...and very boring"

4. If you're given 3 cognitive exams in one year by panels of doctors, something is VERY wrong with you

If the Sep. 2 boat really had "narco-terrorists" on board, questioning the survivors would have been a way to learn about how the organization worked, where more drugs were stashed, etc. But this isn't a counter-terrorism campaign. It's a shooting gallery with helpless targets.

No-strings-attached, zero-means-testing, no-questions-asked cash payouts have been proven, over and over again, to be the most effective form of charity/aid going.

It gets people in housing, and it saves the state money. We know this. It's fact, not theory.
An Oregon pilot program giving cash to homeless youths sees a staggering reduction in homelessness. The program gave participants $1,000 cash payments each month for two years, and at the end of the project's first phase, 91% of participants reported being in stable housing.

Actually, the likelihood is 100%. In US jurisprudence, accused people are innocent until proven guilty. Hegseth's victims were not proven guilty; they were not even tried. Therefore they were ALL, to the last man, legally innocent. Hegseth ordered the murders of several dozen innocent men.
Rand Paul just posted this letter from the Coast Guard confirming that 1/4 of the boats they stop carry no contraband. The likelihood that Hegseth & Bradley ordered the murder of innocent civilians is very high.
