New ceiling fan.
New paint.
Light strips behind the top of the desk (the room is never done until the light strips are in).

Start my new job tomorrow morning!

Drab. Tan walls. Old ugly ceiling fan.

Office "after".

New paint ("Smoked Tan", and "Autumn Amber on an opposite wall as an accent). New/modern ceiling fan. Light strips behind the top of the desks.

Love French Oak finishes.

I don't normally prefer "budget" bourbons, but Blue Note Crossroads is a 100º bourbon (sourced by Green River) finished in French Oak.

Generally runs in the $40USD range.
