I'm about 80% of the way done with my Dancer Petra costume and been stuck waiting for a zipper to really finish fitting it and while I think it's looking good so far.... if it gets on my body and turns out looking garbage, I may cry.

My dice have rolled like such garbage this week that I'm thinking about taking them outside and setting them in the snow for a bit to try and teach them a lesson.

I am trying so hard to hope that it being so cold now means we'll have a comfortably warm Katsucon but I'm sure it'll be frigid too knowing how this year is going.

I know I probably wouldn't exist if she hadn't but snow storms like this one make me deeply regret that my grandmother left Hawai'i and therefore I didn't grow up there. I am a hot house orchid and not made for this weather.

When I got top surgery and didn't have supportive family to help me, it was a house in the Phillips neighborhood that took me in and cared for me during recovery. This was the neighborhood that made me fall in love with Minneapolis.

Shout out to my fabric stash for coming in clutch yet again. The extra fabric I bought for to make Winter Retrac Celchu dress already contributed to my fancy Tifa Lockhart costume last year and has now saved the day for my Dancer Petra costume. It's nice to use materials I already have on hand.

Does anyone know if there's any good reference for Bellara's scarf that gives an idea of the full embroidery pattern on it? I've obviously got the BW released cosplay starter pack images and I've taken a lot of screenshots of the Arlathan's Splendor cloak but wasn't sure if there was more/better.
