I have felt… extremely down about my cosplay this year both in terms of my productivity and own standards and regarding comments from others so it was genuinely very healing to get a bunch of positive, sweet comments about my Ame at PAX last weekend.
Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

Y'know, I kinda hate that I am 35 years old and truly don't care about cosplay popularity etc and I still get anxious about how people will be when I make/wear more "revealing" costumes. Cuz lord do people like to be weird and/or insinuate things for those. I just like the character and/or design!
