continue to think that if instead of "raw milk" we called it "doodoo milk" people would understand the risk proposition
This is bonkers. MAHA 'farmers' with ecoli tainted raw milk admit they really don't know how to make the stuff after all.

"Producing raw milk takes careful planning from a facility and infrastructure standpoint. Unfortunately, we learned this after the fact."

I’m sorry, but if you look at a group of ultra-nationalists that are repealing the rights of vulnerable minorities and using jackbooted thugs to extrajudicially round them up, and you can’t see the parallels with the Nazis, then what the fuck is wrong with you?
Gov. Josh Shapiro called District Attorney Larry Krasner's comparison of ICE agents to Nazis "abhorrent." Krasner responded that Shapiro is "not meeting the moment."

the epstein files make it abundantly clear that individuals having this degree of wealth is directly the cause of every horrible thing in the world, and any coherent vision of a better future cannot involve billionaires existing. They have to go, be it taxed out of existence or otherwise removed.

Don't let Republicans and transphobes re-write history when they're the ones who've been orchestrating a genocide with a cabal of pedophiles all along. Trans people, yet again, were the canaries in the coal mine, and everyone just looked and said, "huh, there's a dead bird in there".

Now you too can play a slowed down version of a game from 20 years ago with no actual level design or enemies and all it costs is a complete collapse of the world economy, biosphere, education system, and multiple entire creative industries.
Project Genie is an an experimental research prototype that Google gave @jaypeters.net access to this week, though he may not be using it in exactly the way Google intended.

Here's Jay's version of something like Super Mario 64:

AI shit can't die fast enough, this is fundamentally a parasitic "industry". It is just a virus that systematically gobbles up the value of labor industry by industry and produces significantly less revenue for its masters than stable workforces and markets. It is cancer bsky.app/profile/andy...
"The UK creative industries — which contributed £125 billion to the economy in 2024 and supported 2.4 million jobs — are being destroyed by an AI sector that, whatever its long-term potential, contributed just £11 billion in the same year and supported only 85,000 jobs."

It is completely fair to be angry at the people with public profiles - pundits, politicians, businessmen - who fucked this one up until Minnesota was under siege to the point where only white people can leave their homes and agents of the state are murdering with impunity.
Bluesky idea: if people who didn't agree with you change their opinions so that they do agree with you, why not be happy that you are making progress - rather than complaining that they are "only just catching up"?

ICE killing #AlexPretti should remind you of police killing #PhilandoCastille. Both men had concealed weapon permits, did not draw their guns, & were killed in Minn. These homicides are the price of unaccountable policing. These deaths are variations on the same fatal theme.
