Same for me too. I was hoping to go with my friends to be like "LOOK AT US, WE'RE ALL STILL FRIENDS AND DOING AWESOME." But it wasn't worth it.

My 20 year high school reunion was last year and they decided to have it... at a bowling alley in not a nice area and with no parking. About 20-25 people went. And just about all the people that you would expect. lol

My friends and I have been celebrating our own reunion for a few years now. :)

Oh, that is tough. I'm sorry to hear you had such a rough time.

I don't know if this might help, but for my husband we agreed to set limits on where he can drive to. Like he does not drive on highways at all. He only drives to work and nearby places.

I used to be very anxious about driving and was for a bit after I got my license. But after driving a bit, I became super confident and it quickly became very easy. It definitely helps to drive very defensively even though it means you frequently get tailgaters and honks. -_-
