additionally, I would like to point out that forced deportation & taking children from parents are both forms of genocide. just because we haven't hit death camps yet doesn't mean we aren't actively committing genocide. and if we continue this way, we'll absolutely end up with death camps.
Deportations without violence aren't a thing. If you'd ever seen an arrest by ICE you'd know that no matter how little the victims resist, the event is violent because of the very nature of pulling people away from their homes and families.
