This is the unimproved grassland at Ashton Court, complete with Dufy clouds today - hosts orchids, fungi, a profusion of wild flowers which is partially fenced off in the summer months for the skylarks, festivals and events don’t happen up here but lower down the hills of this estate.

Fairy fingers, clavaria fragilis, in more or less the same spot I find it year after year. Delicate white thin strands of fungi growing straight up in the grass

Craster in Northumberland is indeed a breathtakingly beautiful village with stunning coastal views and rich historical charm, been there twice. This is a brilliant shot.

Here's a fake Kodak Aerochrome view of Walter Peak from the Moke Lake road. Tahuna Queenstown above Whakatipu Waimāori, Lake Wakatipu

View across pine tress in a valley, across a lake to a mountain range in the distance in the middle of summer sans snow. Warm teal almost cloudless sky above. The trees are reds & pinks mimicking inferred light that is captured on the now defunct Kodak film stock that captured infrared light. The only film stock that still exists is hundreds of US dollars & expired, so I'm not wasting my money on that, when geeks have made photoshop formula & actions to recreate the same look free. Not to everyone's taste as it doesn't look natural (unless you're a creature that sees in infrared), & I bloody hated it when I first saw it, not a complete fan of it.

Moody day with ominous skies above a mountain with a little snow on the top. Below is a wonderful pinkish scree slope, with orange autumnal colours of the landscape in the valley. A magical patch of sun illuminates a section across the base of the mountain - glowing like gold!

Cat’s Whiskers (Orthosiphon aristatus)
