Sarkozy starting a jail term for dodgy finacial dealings. In England that would get you a seat in the house of lords and even richer.

We have the power, we have the vision, and now we need to get out and vote this Friday.

There has never been a more important time to elect a President who will be independent of Government.
Im all for technological advances if this benefits the planet and its inhabitants, but watching whole sectors shut down, affecting 10s of millions of people, because of software glitches, blips, and hacks, its frightening to think of AI in control of travel, logistics, healthcare, and daily life.
I really am starting to believe Trump and his maniacal cronies are simply copying the nazi play book.
Trump is a dangerously unstable sociopath. A threat to the entire planet.
And isn't it interesting to see how this egregious power crazed fool would treat well over half the citizens he professes to represent.
He only represents the bitterest, the stupidest and the lowest of the low.
and another thing: he’s not mad. please don’t put it in the newspaper that he got mad.
Number of people who go jogging in the dark mornings while dressed head to toe in black and wearing head phones, is crazy. Guys you are difficult to see, and you cant hear anything coming. A hi-viz bib or stripe costs little, and may even extend your life more than the jogging will.
I gave up on America quite some time ago, but today, there are glimmers, there is hope yet.
Unionists never really came to terms with the franchise.

None of her business whether Irish citizens get to vote.
Even if i knew nothing else about Catherine Connolly, just seeing who is opposed to her would be enough to ensure she got my vote*

*She won't get my vote as, despite being an Irish citizen, i am disenfrancised because i live in the north.
"Don't trust the experts trust me, an ex addict, part of whose brain was eaten by a worm"

Actually the worm found so little sustenance there that it upped and died.

The Trump regime is packed with literal sociopaths. Absolutely frightening.
RFK Jr: We need to stop trusting the experts... Trusting the experts is not a feature of science or democracy, it's a feature of religion and totalitarianism.
Wanton destruction of Ireland's tiny and dwindling natural heritage for profit. The government and its bodies (yeah, i know, no chance when there's profit for others involved) need to start taking, and punishing, these acts of environmental vandalism seriously.
"Legal action may be considered". Yeah that'll deter them. It's ecological and environmental destruction of Ireland's heritage and the very least the idiots involved should face is a very hefty finacial penalty.
People lining up to congratulate the latest Nobel 'peace laureate', just because she isn't Trump. Even a cursory look at her CV tells a tale.
And not a good one.
Greedy bankers destroyed economy a few short years ago, they had to bailed out by workers to the tune of billions, a bail out that is still affecting the everyday lives of working people. Their reward for this greed and mismanagement?
Tax breaks, paid for again by ordinary working people. #Budget26
Dublin government to the less well off: We have loads of cash but you aren't getting any of it.

Dublin government to the already rich: Ach sure lads you could do with a few more quid.
What on earth has happened to this Celtic team?

Trump says his deal leaves way open to Palestinian statehood. Netanyahu now says his regime will forcibly resist this idea.
It seems the Palestinian people, after all their unimaginable suffering, may be being led into a trap. I openly weep with fear and despair on what the future holds for them.
I'm not a golf fan by any stretch of the imagination, but i've been dipping in and out to see what the kerfuffle is about. The behaviour of the brain dead MAGA section of the American crowd is despicable, but not surprising given who their messiah is.
