Ireland should be doing more for Palestine, boycotting the genocidal state of Israel on every level: trade, sporting, and cultural links.

But RTE's stand on the Eurovision is still cause to be proud.

Don't often praise RTÉ, but well done on taking a stand. Those broadcasters standing by the Israeli regime should hang their heads in shame.

How things have changed in the couple of months since i posted this. Still not qualified but they have gave themselves a huge chance. Hats off to the management and players for an incredible and unbelievable comeback from the depths of despair.
Irish soccer team will not qualify for the World cup, and for that we should be thankful. Embarrassing shambles. The FAI, management, and players, should hang their heads.

If only some of these billionaires, (soon to be trillionaires), would spend a little of their vast wealth on making our presently habitable planet remain so, rather than in trying to get to a planet that has been uninhabitable for billions of years and likely to remain so.

I have obtained a copy of the Flood Advisory issued by Met Éireann to local authorities today showing an orange level flood risk for many parts of East and South. I cannot see why it is not made public as I believe it is in the public interest to share it so I am sharing it.

The requirement means the penalty would likely be used only against Palestinians convicted of deadly attacks on Israelis.
