I am being intentionally absurd here, so let me be clear: whether AI boosters are true believers or not, they’re part of a philosophical project that sees human thought and labor as simultaneously exploitable and expendable. Their gratification matters more than the lives of writers or performers.

I don't know you stranger, but I really dislike blaming the raising of adults for how those adults choose to behave. It removes their agency imho. The issue here is why we've built a society where adults happily make this choice instead of literally anything else

"giggles by you, witty one liners by me" I can no longer tell you how many times I've cracked a joke and the date has reacted with either stony silence or anger, because me being witty/funny/droll/quick off the mark is a threat to their sense of self. Sometimes they even say so to my pretty face
