Bruce was thoughtful, smart, funny, and passionate. It meant so much to see my name on his site. He was one of the few people who actually made me think I had a shot to write professionally. I'm absolutely gutted by his passing. Boston sports will never be the same. I will always miss him. 2/2

I only knew Bruce through email, but my goodness was he always kind to me. He was also supportive. His Boston Sports Media Watch website was an absolute must-read every day, and he was nice enough to let me write some guest pieces when I was just a young wannabe writer who used too many commas. 1/2

This is Bruce's wife. Bruce passed away on Sept 19th from complications with cancer treatment. I'll leave his account open for now. He loved sports and talking about sports and will be eternally missed.
