Miners and their advocates are begging the administration to enforce a Biden-era rule meant to protect them.

Pretty sure it’s federally legal. Some states have more restrictions.
This right here!! That wasn’t one march in one blue city. That was the country. Read up on some of the small places in KY and WI and TX. It normalized saying No. It gave energy and reminded people that yes, we are huge and we care and we will go to the streets.

The whole point of democracy is so one person's derangement does not become everybody's problem. It's social hygiene. The fact the richest men in the West are a mix of grotty twelve year olds and deranged apocalypse fanatics is a problem, and we should be honest about it.

No health care for you, but private jets for Secretary Noem.
The Trump administration just ordered two Gulfstream luxury private jets for Kristi Noem at a cost of over $172 million.

This comes as Americans can barely afford groceries.

“They didn’t treat people like they were American.” In Chicago last month, federal agents carried out one of the most aggressive immigration operations in recent memory, sweeping up dozens of U.S. citizens who were detained in the middle of the night. nyti.ms/3Jgpxob

it is actually pretty funny that this is the best they can do. they can’t say “the left is exaggerating, Trump’s not a king, he’s just a strong leader,” when Trump is out here posting “KING TRUMP” AI videos. all they have is “well JESUS is king, so THERE, and did we mention Charlie Kirk is dead” 🙄

“No Kings” protests were about as wholesome as you could imagine. But that hasn’t stopped top Republicans from thoroughly melting down over its success.

Case in point: President Trump posted an AI video of himself wearing a crown and dropping raw sewage on protesters from a military plane..

Media outlets who refuse to describe in plain terms what the president did because they find it objectionable are lying to their audiences and running cover for the president. It's as simple as that.
The president of the United States posted a video of him defecating on the American people. Many in my profession normalized it. This is a big reason why we are where we are.

I worked with Erez Reuveni at the Dept. of Justice. He is a man of consummate integrity. His warning must catalyze action by us, the people of the United States.

The most important article you will read today. This is simply not the America we love. I say this as a former national security professional who is very much pro law enforcement. The tactics used here are anathema to actual policing, against all TTPs. www.propublica.org/article/trum...

Good evening. We estimate that between 4.2 and 7.6 million people turned out for the No Kings Day demonstrations held around the country on Saturday. This makes Oct 18 very likely the biggest single-day U.S. protest event since 1970. www.gelliottmorris.com/p/second-no-...

Top story when you go to The Guardian this AM. Which it is not when you go to the Washington Post or the NY Times. Apt language here, whereas WaPo describes the day as an airing of grievances as though we are a bunch of whining George Costanzas, not a vast public fearful of losing everything.
