Would like to point out she really surprised me with this, I had made peace with the fact I wouldn’t have a Galactus in my collection. They’re hard to find & I passed one up when I did bc it wasn’t in that months budget. She went back to the store later & got it for me ❤️
My wife. Got me. A GALACTUS FIGURE FOR MY COLLECTION. For my 40th birthday. My Fantastic Four collection is complete. I love her! 🥰

(picture w/ other figures for scale only, I have MANY more for the final display, like Silver Surfer & Doctor Doom)
Even though I was raised Catholic, I’m a non-believer. As such the word “sacrilegious” isn’t something I say. But knowing the what American Christofascists are doing in Jesus’ name & what’s in the Gospels… yeah, sacrilege is the right word. I hope more religious leaders use it
“Get the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ out of your mouth” holy shit, from a theological standpoint escalating from “you’re a bad Christian” to “this is sacrilege” is an incredibly damning thing to hurl at the Christiofascists & I didn’t realize until now that’s the right word for it
Incredibly powerful words from Pastor David Black.
🤣 yeah that a solid point. I don’t know that he’s capable of that on any level
Imagine bringing one of these into a movie theater. Just more melted better on demand, without missing the film by leaving your seat. We were on the cusp of greatness with this one….
You guys, look at this thing. You just jam a whole stick of butter in there and it melts it and you can just spray hot liquid butter on whatever. The 80s really was the decade of insane kitchen appliances.
That’s very flippant on that subject matter, but as your post noted, they are in the minority and history has shown that hungry masses will turn on them.

lol what the wealthy today don't seem to understand is part of staying wealthy in society is not pissing off the masses.

There's a reason why Carnegie and the Rockefellers poured money into institutions. Gutting institutions and making it harder for the masses to survive is a...choice.
My wife thinks he wants that to happen. Like a rich person version of suicide by cop, only suicide by peasant revolt. He HAS to know continuing this will lead to an angry mob. Historically, it always does. Because no other reasoning makes sense. He’s let too many things get out of control too fast

A picture is still worth a thousand words, but due to AI slop, those words are all melting, illegible gibberish.

This sweet-faced midwestern white man could have been our Vice President...but a lot of y'all got propagandized into inviting the harms you should have been mitigating.
Tim Walz: "People are gonna be lined up out here to get food, and we're talking about a damn ballroom. Don't lose the plot."
Between Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners” and Rian Johnson’s “Wake Up, Dead Man,” two of my favorite directors have films out this year & I couldn’t be happier. Added bonus: they’re both fellow Trojans! #fighton
If you couldn’t tell I’m really on a Ryan Coogler tear of late. He’s one of my favorite directors working today and when he and Ruth Carter collab it’s **chef’s kiss** her costumes tell the character’s story, so rich I fucking LOVE it
Gentle reminder that Ruth Carter won 2 very deserved Academy Awards for her resplendent costume work on the “Black Panther” films. “Visual splendor for the sake of visual splendor” shows she understands what makes comic books fun better than most nerds

Guillermo del Toro on wealth: "a wealthy man is a man who has enough, not a man that needs more. If you have enough to invite someone for a beer? You're rich. If you have a yacht, planes, islands, and you still need more? You're not rich."

When he says “hit it, Joe”, I don’t think first time viewers are going to be prepared for just how hard Joe hits it.
makes me weep to think of the gifts robbed from us because unaffordable housing has made it difficult for people to pursue their passions and hobbies

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. How corrosive it is that public figures are--more and more shamelessly--ripping the copper wiring out of the walls. Integrity is for suckers. Abusing power is fun. Caring about anything bigger than yourself is lame. An elite class of evil toddlers
I continue to think that one of the reasons this country is falling apart is the wholesale abandonment of public virtue as a broadly shared aspiration. Or even something people should be embarrassed about if they don’t have it.
Fuckin yikes, man

This isn't national leadership. This is a tantrum of wounded and bitter men. Its simply division, cynicism and a civil war in slow motion. This administration is willfully and with every action destroying a union of states that is our republic.
I'm starting to think maybe we shouldn't have voted this guy in as President of Earth

someday we're gonna go thru the internal documents of this federal brownshirt bureau & find out they were just a bunch of incompetent gearheads egging each other on with racist revenge fantasies based on too many viewings of Sicario 2
This was a pretty typical "formation" if you could even call it that. Just guys masked up with guns and a lot of less-lethal gear, walking up to people. Very little communication.
This passage is untrue - not just anecdotally, but on a level so scientific that NASA actually has the receipts to refute it in their recruitment files
okay grandpa, let's get you to bed
For someone who supposedly reads Mein Kampf, I’m not sure Trump knows how the whole “retreat to the bunker” thing turned out for Hitler…
Oh so he’s upgrading the super secure bunker where the president can operate without fear of death or capture. Underneath his monument to himself where the rich (& only the rich) can pay their dues for access to his power circle. How red flags of “not leaving office willingly” do we need?
Talk about burying the lede: “The bunker under the East Wing will also be upgraded, sources told CBS News. The White House Military Office is handling the renovation of the bunker, which is known as the President's Emergency Operations Center.” 10/22/25 www.cbsnews.com/news/demolis...
Trump administration plans to demolish White House's entire East Wing as ballroom cost grows to $300 million
The Trump administration is planning to demolish the entirety of the White House's East Wing as early as this weekend, two senior administration officials said, part of a ballroom project championed b...
