I'm Kevin, I always wanted a My Pet Monster (except for real). My favorite color is Glow in the Dark. Stuck between 1982 and 1992. Let's do the time warp again.

Aliens are not Cryptids, but Cryptids can be Aliens.

Oct 12th - While working on a documentary, Steve Zisssou's best friend, Esteban du Plantier, was eaten alive by a "jaguar shark".

📽️📅 The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004)
4 Screenshots from the movie "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" (2004): First, two men in matching blue uniforms stand on a boat with rocky cliffs in the background, one wearing a red beanie and holding a harpoon gun. The subtitle reads, "October 12th. Esteban and I explore the blue reefs beyond the peninsula." Second, a man is pictured swimming in turbulent water with the words "ESTEBAN WAS EATEN" overlaid in yellow text. Third, two men in formal attire sit at a long table in a grand room adorned with a mural, with one asking, "What would be the scientific purpose of killing it?" Fourth, the same scene continues as the other man responds with the single word, "Revenge."

I learned that they are actually thriving in the land down under though, 11.4 billion in revenue, and 325 stores across Australia and New Zealand.

I first saw Escape From New York randomly on a Saturday afternoon on TBS and it was life altering.

This is a real documentary. I don't think it hits HBO until November.

On Halloween night I'm going to make Pumpkin Chili. A little protein to undercut the sugar.

TIL Spin Magazine still exists.

Not the same as flipping through channels and making a random discovery.

True, but streaming killed the thing where you accidentally "discover" a film. I remember flipping channels and coming across Better Off Dead and feeling like I'm the only one who knows about this movie. It was a great feeling.

Is it abduction if I'm ready and willing to go?

Objectively The People Under The Stairs, but I have great affection for The Serpent And The Rainbow.

What do you think is Wes Craven’s best film that isn’t part of the A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET or SCREAM franchises?

I feel like everyone will have a different answer and that’s really interesting to me.

They brought back Stranger Things pizza and they come with collectible stickers. The only sticker I want is the one for Starcourt Mall.

People always joke that they were afraid of quicksand growing up but I think I was more afraid of alien abduction.

And with that Tron shall lay in hibernation for another decade.

Kids today will never stumble upon Night Of The Living Dead at 2am while channel surfing and that's just sad.

I'm only watching spooky movies and sitcom Halloween episodes for the rest of the month.
