as i am, again, a formerly homeless person, i hope the people i see complaining about this being a photo op have actually donated either *their* personal time or money to help underprivileged people so they can eat and dont have to go without, and arent just chirping just to chirp
Combatting poverty and hunger in this city will take every single one of us. Myself included.

The CDC has turned off its vaccine search tool.
The vaccines.gov site now gives an error when you enter a valid zip code.
They also removed text saying “Vaccines can help you stay healthy” and added a banner saying the site is being updated.

A woman with a family connection to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Revere, Massachusetts.
The woman, Bruna Ferreira, has an 11-year-old son with Michael Leavitt, Karoline Leavitt's brother.
Ferreira migrated with her family to the United States from Brazil as a child and is currently in custody at an ICE facility in southern Louisiana.
