Also useful to note that the money they spend on actual counselling has gone down despite their revenue increasing, which is explained by greater efficiency.

If a charity that offers a counselling service has more money, then surely, they ought to be investing in expanding their counselling?

The trailblazing transgender rights activist Miss Major has passed away at the age of 78.

Miss Major was a lifelong organizer and participant in the ballroom scene. She took part in the 1969 Stonewall Riots and was injured by the police — but she kept fighting.

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

Looks like Wendy Schollum will be Hastings’ new Mayor. So glad!

She and her husband are friends of a friend. I really don’t know them and yet they both were absolutely essential in my ability to get through a week without power post-Cyclone Gabrielle
