I'm lots of things occasionally - occasional vidder, occasional fanfic writer, occasional student - but lots of things intermittently. Mostly confused. He/Him.

I'm surprised she'd eat chips, given that potatoes are a foreign import. Why isn't she eating skirret instead?
Who's your favourite Jedi? (wrong answers only)
I still don't understand how there isn't a huge fan-built Lego diorama of the palace.
Please tell me you had the cream tea so that I can live vicariously through you...
You threw in the Warhammer mention to distract us so we wouldn't outbid you on the Mattel 12" MC Hammer action figure, didn't you?

You mean those second-rate knockoffs of the Rainbow Warriors?
I think one of the drivers for it is the French authorities' claims that the black economy here is a big part of why there are so many people attempting to enter the country illegally, and that Starmer's looking for something he can do to show he's tackling that.
I'd be supporting so many people on Patreon...
Hmm. A bit like salted caramel, perhaps?
Your local rental store didn't have access to Ewoks: Caravan of Courage, or Space Camp?
I'm terribly sorry. I hope that your work will be supportive, and that you've got a space with friends in for support where you absolutely don't have to do any adulting.
The advert is up on Youtube, and one of the reasons it surprised me in the cinema is because it's almost 10 minutes long. I still think it's a great advert, but I should warn you that Marilyn Mansion has a guest appearance right at the end.
I've actually never seen Croupier, and I'm not sure why...
I think the next time I saw him was playing James Brown's driver in a long BMW advert called Beat the Devil about ten years later, and thinking "it's the guy from Chancer!"... and then suddenly he seemed to be in movies everywhere.
Clive Owen in Chancer.
Fun topic: what’s the first time you remember seeing now famous actors? Like, I remember seeing Michael Fassbender in JONAH HEX and thinking “shit, this dude’s good.”
I first saw Karl Urban in the movie Ghost Ship at a filthy $1 theater.

I could’ve never anticipated how many times I’d be saying to myself “Hey, it’s the guy from Ghost Ship!” for the rest of my life.
How many tenants are likely to be Bringing Up Baby?
I'm sorry to hear this. Your luck has to turn at some point, right?
Should I be worried that of those shows, I've watched the Wire twice, and I think a season and a half of GOT, and the others just kind of passed me by?

(I just finished Revenant on Disney+ today, so have been watching Ted Lasso all evening...)

The Stripe statement in this is important to note.

It really hammers home that the payment processors (i.e. Mastercard/VISA) are the people who everyone needs to keep calling, writing and applying pressure to here.

They are the architects and arbiters of the restriction on NSFW content payments.

I am looking for a roommate or 3, primarily because I enjoy living with people, and for my own safety and that of the animals I'm caring for.

It's a farmette situation just outside of Rochester, MN. Lots of space and quiet. I'm working out the details still but plz RT.
I'm hoping the three most recent films will work really well together as a combination, because it feels like 28 Years Later is doing some interesting things.
I really liked the way Sinners set itself up to look like one sort of story before pivoting hard partway through, and that closing scene set in modern times might be one of my favourite scenes in any vampire movie.

I have high hopes for the next couple of movies in the 28 universe,
What did you think of Sinners, and 28 Years Later?
