I lived with my dad when I was very young and he didn’t apply for food stamps or free school lunches, though we qualified.

So, I went hungry. It was awful. I begged neighbors for saltine crackers. I can say it was the worst time of my life.

Children shouldn’t go hungry. Restore SNAP benefits.

Faux naivety is his trademark. He's a trained journalist (though rarely deploys that training) and isn't stupid. It's a way of disassociating himself from what he knows is going on and it's incredibly tedious. We're all aware of the circles he moves in and what he's being told.

I've watched a ton of interviews with NYHC types like Harley Flanagan and the impression you come away with, was that New York was INCREDIBLY dangerous when the hardcore scene was really picking up. This is really good one - open about it all and how much therapy he's had.

Attacking Farage on his bottomless corruption is a non-starter. Because rightly or wrongly, the general public assumes most MPs are like this (MPs have done this to themselves and continue to do it to themselves).

The sensible and clever thing for Starmer to do re Farage, is attack him on his plans for the NHS. Because people don't want an American-style healthcare system.

So Starmer likely won't do that.

Watched a long YouTube video about the Portland protests and contained within it, was a short segment where MAGA types were asked their opinion on them.

The responses were pure nihilism, combined with a sincere hope that the protestors are seriously hurt.

So many of these people are unreachable.
