"i am a disabled veteran, who is only able to have the life i have because of my disability. but its wrong that i only get those benefits because i served in Iraq, everyone should have them" is his stump speech

@breadnrosie.bsky.social get Aaron B to run for senate
one of the bush's is running for governor actually lol. not a nazi but he is a domestic abuser
ironically maine used to be more R leaning than WV is currently
but yeah more data always good
im kind of inclined to believe it just by virtue of the fact that as someone who definitely knows a lot of under 35s, and also hears what people are saying in both the hard left socialist spaces and more normal young dem type spaces, you don't hear a lot of praise for her
this is mills's favorability by age
education is much more even
ok my hunch here is that mills is polling best among seniors, which means people on fixed income, plus northern maine, which is the poorest part of the state
the most polarized one i see is age. also the only part of the state mills beats him in is northern maine which is also the poorest
ok this is hilarious. the polling by income is not what you'd think at all

Pete Buttigieg endorses aid restrictions to Israel, Seth Moulton is running away from AIPAC at full speed, Mallory McMorrow says it's a genocide, meanwhile Cory Booker says that asking if Netanyahu is a war criminal is unfair.

What the hell is happening? I take a stab at it in the piece below.
Democrats Are Getting a Brutal Lesson in How Much the Politics on Israel Have Changed
From Pete Buttigieg to Gavin Newsom, party bigwigs are finding out the hard way that the old platitudes don’t work anymore.

New poll: UNH finds that November’s ballot measure in Maine that would greatly restrict mail voting, and impose voter ID, is *very* tight.

It’s 49% no, 48% yes. scholars.unh.edu/survey_cente...

One of the most suspenseful elections on November 4.
btw if you care about the senate race (from any direction) you should be worried about this. it will make voting here much harder.

if you're in maine sign up for a gotv canvass shift at saveabsentee.me/events/

or if you're out of state maine dems are running phonebanks www.mobilize.us/mainedems/

Whatever this poll means, its clear: Democratic voters don't want the same corporate candidates, they want something new.

Check out @breadnrosie.bsky.social on the phenomenon of the "Democratic Tea Party" moment: powermapmag.com/the-democrat...
here's the methodology.
i think she's been pretty good on abortion, but yeah
