Speaker Johnson knows or should know what ICE is doing to citizens. He seems to excuse ICE behavior by false claims to an “overwhelming” majority of votes. 49% voted for Trump, NOT “overwhelming”

A strong Speaker would hold a hearing.

1) there was no rudeness intended. Most funerals do not go on all day. Spending a short time doing something else afterwards or before may be possible and can be meaningful.

If they don’t, Mother Nature will due to rising sea levels at the rate that we are burning fossil fuels. The Repubs are doing all they can to extract more & more resources to burn from our public lands! Welfare for fossil fuel interests.
