MS Cybersecurity, CISSP, cyber systems engineer - husband to an amazing woman, father to two wonderful kids.

Also a former English teacher, but I wont break out the red pen (too often).
The sudden dismissal of Gen. Haugh surprised a lot of people - and at the behest of someone as unserious as Laura Loomer, of all people! Such a serious role requires well-qualified individuals, and Gen. Haugh was certainly that.

Feels wild...
A prominent computer scientist who has spent 20 years publishing academic papers on cryptography, privacy, and cybersecurity has gone incommunicado, had his professor profile removed by employer Indiana University, & had his homes raided by the FBI. No one knows why.

"First, there’s the Espionage Act, which sounds like it applies only to spies. But there’s a provision in the law that applies to the SignalGate chatters, even if they were all legally entitled to the information. That’s because they have a custodial duty to keep national security information safe."
All the laws flouted during SignalGate
Very illegal and very not cool.

Their knowledge of basic information security at the individual level is astonishingly uninformed.
The incompetence of this administration is staggering.

Top 🕵️‍♂️ officials using Signal to plan military ops—then leaking it by mistake—isn't just sloppy, it's a national security risk.
Who’s accountable?🤔

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM had an obligation to squash that chat the second it started.

And you thought 🧈♂️♂️ was bad...

Wild. We hear about polygraphs and an all weekend leaker-hunt only for it to be revealed that the leaker is the DUI hire Faux News Host himself.
Pete Hegseth never should have been tapped for this job. It's too important.

He should be fired immediately.

A further blow to the US economy, but perhaps more importantly, a serious blow to our global influence.
The rest of the world, realizing that we elected Trump for a second term, has decided that they cannot count on having the U. S. standing shoulder to shoulder with them in a fight. They need a partner that they can count on and the United States is no longer that. They're going their own way.

Oh look, the FBI 🚨 begging folks to lock down email & VPNs — Medusa ransomware smashing hospitals & schools.

Would be super cool if CISA still had funding for… you know, cyber defense. But what’s a little national security between budget cuts? 🙃

Two Republican senators told me tonight this vote shows they can execute the same strategy again — cut Democrats out of the negotiations on a gov’t funding bill, pass it thru the House, and expect Senate Dems to back down and not filibuster it.

“We liked it over here,” one said.

Cowardice in the face of what is hard often masquerades as courage to do what is 'right.'

Hardworking families and countless Americans will continue to suffer under this administration and Congress. Participation validates actions that are harmful, regressive, and (in many cases) illegal.

My YES vote is *not* an endorsement of this deeply flawed CR.

My YES vote is 💯 about refusing to shut our government down.

I refuse to punish working families and plunge millions of Americans into chaos.

I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever vote to shut our government down.

NEW: CISA, the federal agency responsible for the nation’s cybersecurity, officially cut funding to support state and local election offices. A CISA spokesperson told Democracy Docket the slashed program "no longer effectuates department priorities.”

The Democrats should not participate in a govt in which they were not consulted. Do not vote for a CR that does not align with your policies. When a shutdown happens, remind the country that the GOP can either consult with Democrats or vote to repeal the filibuster at any time.

If Elon's mission was to make government efficient, he'd have been fired already. Rather, #DOGE only exists to undermine public trust in government.
you’re fired. wait you’re rehired. email us a list of things you’ve done today wait forget it you’re fired again. come back your job was important. you’re fired. or hired. come in to the office. wait the office has no computers go home. we are the department of government efficiency.

This is really true.

We paid 0.1% of our GDP to stymie Russian aggression, revitalize the NATO alliance, and isolate China militarily on the world stage.

All without a single American soldier even having to put boots on the ground.

#Ukraine
Military aid to Ukraine has always been a bargain for the U.S.

We degraded Russia’s armed forces and replaced our own stockpiles with brand new weapons, all while brave Ukrainians— not Americans—fought the Russians off.

Halting that aid is not only morally repulsive, it’s plain stupid.
