Look, I just want to grow boobs, kiss boys, and eat tacos in peace. Why is that so hard for some people to understand?
How long has this tooth even been broken?
Dental problems, just what i needed *cries*

"How do asexuals like... have sex?"
"We do it on the couch"
"Oh well that's not that wei..."
"We get snacks and kiss and watch anime"
"... that's not sex"
"Animakeout Nights are better"
I still use em-dashes a lot—especially in technical writing. I don't give a shit. A decade and a half of LaTeX cannot be undone. You can pry " ---" from my cold, dead hands

Being an ad agency copywriter meant I speedran getting sick of these hack-y lines when they were fresh. Reading them warmed up as AI slop is like seeing the corpse of an old enemy, resurrected by dark necromancy
"it isn't just X—it's Y" is by far the most annoying ChatGPTism
It's not delivery—it's DiGiorno

Finding that I'm running out of steam this semester, and it's only week 9

I am very glad that they showed me this because John Carpenter is fundamentally understands what makes good horror, and even though the first 70% of this movie is incredibly B-Movie by today's standards, the last part is S+ tier cinematography and is honestly better than most modern stuff
Me *showing @jimmywuffster.bsky.social Halloween for the first time*: Damn, 70s women's fashion was so good. I wish it was still a thing
Jimmy: you've seen @cargie.baby's posts, right? (complimentary)

Furry artists that are NEVER open all seeming to be open for work all at once seems like a hell of a leading economic indicator
me, too, but enough people have been asking me about it that I went "fine, I read the damn thing"

I need polls so bad I have so many stupid questions to ask
I will say Z-A is the first game in a very long time where I see most people saying positive things about it
Could have fooled me with the amount of complaining Pokemon fans seem to do. I know it's just the vocal minority, but it is all I seem to see whenever a new Pokemon game gets released
Nobody seems to hate pokemon games more than pokemon fans
Please know this isn't me saying "wow that pokemon game seems to be bad" and more "I am too far a distance away from the game to know anything about it and the reactions are confusing"
Even for the nearest star in Sagittarius, 9 degrees is corresponds to 1.5 lightyears. Which is 14,000,000,000,000km away

These two signals are not correlated
I just read up on Avi Loeb's claim that 3I/Atlas is "aligned with the wow signal"

"Within 9 degrees" is nowhere close to being aligned with something in astronomy.

Ex:

The galactic center is 8kpc away, so "within 9 deg" is actually "within 1.3kpc" or 4,100 light years or 683,000,000,000,000 km
