By far the most likely outcome if you attend a rally, especially a big one, is that you'll experience feelings of joy and solidarity to a degree that can make you giddy. It's the best antidote for the fear, anger and depression resulting from all this constant bullshit. It's a great feeling. Go.

The other day my daughter's friends came over before we went up to RennFest, and came in without knocking. When I was living at home, my dad encouraged all of my friends to just let themselves in.

"Only cops knock" he'd say with a chuckle.

I dreamed that my dad came back as a ghost last night. He was just as his old self, before he lost his nose. I've heard that allegedly you aren't supposed to be able to smell things in dreams, but he smelled just like he did in older days.
