This is a model for what actual masculinity should be. Men don’t need to spend more time in caves beating their chests with other men; they need to take their daughters to a meaningful thing and talk to them about it. Relatedly I think the biggest cure for toxic masculinity is platonic women friends
In 2023 I became obsessed with videos of dads in cargo shortswaiting in parking lots during Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. So when she came to town, I grabbed a camera and headed down to talk to them. I thought it'd be funny. It turned out to be something else entirely.

Christianity absolutely requires you to welcome immigrants.

No exceptions.

No “if they follow the law.”

No “if they contribute economically.”

No exceptions. Welcome them. Treat them as a citizen. Love them.

Now ask the police chief if we can reallocate funding from the police budget to whoever should be doing mental health calls instead.
toronto policing is far from perfect but seeing our police chief actively supporting even further pullback of police from mental health calls, god that's a good thing to see

Hear me out: what if we just hired people — humans —to have subject-area expertise, discretion and empathy and we paid them for those skills.
The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) paid $18 million for a chatbot named Charlie, which the auditor general reported gave her team the wrong answer 66% of the time.

The chatbot's responses were found to be brief and lacking context, with only 2 out of 6 questions answered accurately.

Yeah, definitely not travelling to the US while this regime is in power and for a good while afterwards. Even when/if that happens, the administration of the country is fundamentally broken and it will be a generation before it's sorted out.
NEW: Five years of social media history is only a fraction of what the US Government will shortly demand of overseas visitors.

The full requirements will end tourism in the United States.

Below is the full, mind-blowing list.

Mark Carney built a reputation on linking economic instability with climate inaction. Now he’s made a deal with the very industries driving the crisis.

This isn't Canadian leadership, it’s cowardice disguised as pragmatism.
