Part of the issue is the very term AI has been widened out broadly and infinitely so now we're playing this language crapshoot, during which people can either be mistaken, use the wrong term, not fully understand the term they're using, or just lie. It's a fucking mess.
ngl, outside of the clip that got popularised by Gene Park, the next paragraph sounds like it's a more algorithmic asset placement tool (referencing trees, paths etc) than genAI

I wanted to finish Octopath 0 before I left town on vacation but that's definitely not happening. Good thing there aren't a ton of releases in January I'm looking forward to so I can finish it up then.

God, I FINALLY got a shop in my town in Octopath Traveler 0 and it's like the most insanely useful shop in the game. I'm never buying stuff anywhere else.
