We now have a full long plot as we inherited our neighbours half who recently moved. Was a bit of a surprise tbh I had half forgotten we were on the waiting list! 😆 so lots of prepping to do now! #allotment

Crops update: most done now, some cabbage varieties going and last tomatoes to ripen. Plus a small harvest from Saturday :) #allotment

Hi Helen <3 oh mostly chinese cabbages and red cabbages now! Some last tomatoes ripening and our pumpkins are teeeeeny tiny too so I feel you :’) soil is kinda depleted so starting to prep for next year

Tumblr post that reads "God, I can't tell you how much the "there's not enough enrichment in my enclosure" joke has helped my mental health. Because, for some reason I can't comprehend, pretending that I'm a zoo keeper caring for an animal (which is also me) just makes everything easier to comprehend. Like "your head gets screwey when your apartment is messy" just doesn't carry as much resonance as "The tiger becomes agitated when its enclosure is cluttered" because then I'll be like, no shit? The tiger? I've gotta keep things nice and clean for the tiger."

Something I miss about working on I am Dead is getting to do real world research (with a lowercase r). Going to little museums, reading Wikipedia pages on weird obscure stuff, nattering about stuff that interests you... and then getting to put it into a videogame: it's fun!
