Every year since 1988, the United States has recognized World AIDS Day — until now.

Why not? Maybe because the Trump administration doesn’t want to acknowledge that its foreign aid cuts led to nearly 150,000 deaths from AIDS, according to Boston University researchers.

Shameful.

This is why military service members should refuse to follow illegal orders. Because when the shit hits the fan, Trunp and Hegseth will deny everything and blame you. bsky.app/profile/acyn...
Reporter: Does the administration deny that that second strike happened or did it happen and the administration denies that Hegseth gave the order

Leavitt: The latter is true

And Hegseth said at the time that he watched the attack *live*. If he watched it live, then he either gave the orders or knew exactly what orders were given that day.

Now that Thanksgiving is over, when are we going to see the Trump/Epstein Files?
We are still waiting for them as well as his personal tax returns and medical records, which were promised OVER EIGHT YEARS AGO.

So Admiral Bradley should go ahead and air Hegseth's dirty laundry in a senate hearing.
Whiskey Pete just double-tapped Admiral Bradley.

The fact that this is a surprise to Bradley, presumably Fenton, and a whole bunch of large adult son SOF officers is a justifiable reason alone to fire everyone at SOCOM, just for being fucking stupid

But this won’t hold water.

If Trump and Hegseth claim Bradley is at fault and exceeded his orders, why was Hegseth crowing about the strikes publicly and why hasn’t he removed Bradley?

The strike happened in September and witnesses claim the video made the double tap horrifyingly clear.

kinda seems like what happened is that Bradley correctly understood that he was being ordered to commit war crimes but did not anticipate that anyone would later distinguish between the types of war crimes he was willing to commit
But it does worry me a little bit to see military officials angry about Bradley being thrown under the bus without a concurrent acknowledgement that he did in fact commit an obvious war crime.

Karoline Leavitt made Admiral Bradley the face of the Caribbean strikes today, and it wouldn’t shock me if he became aware of this development at the same time we all did.

This administration is a failure, and accountability can’t come quick enough.

Make no mistake about it, Pete Hegseth is throwing Admiral Bradley under the bus, all the while pretending to support him.

When things go south, and they will, Hegseth is going to make sure that Bradley is holding the gun.

"the combat decisions he has made" is the key phrase here -- Hegseth is making it clear he's distancing himself from the strike

The house and senate have both expressed interest in investigating the strike on survivors of the first boat strike.

Both Hegseth and adm Bradley will need to answer some questions.

This is why a reminder to not follow illegal orders is important
