On this National Indigenous Peoples Day, I acknowledge that the land my city occupies was originally inhabited by the Abenaki & Wabanaki people. The broader place we now call Maine is still home to the sovereign people of the Wabanaki Confederacy. 🙏🌲🌊
I typically have a project out to query, a WIP, and a story in the back-burner of my brain... the activity keeps me occupied and less stressed when rejections come in!
I don't pretend to be an expert... but from the webinars I've attended, it's my understanding that it's fine to reference the tool in your personalization of the letter. Something like... "In your Manuscript Wishlist post, you note your interest in XXX."
