Have you tried "live" pitching? Most conferences provide opportunities to pitch directly to agents, though they can be costly. A similar option is through Writing Day Workshops; there are several online conferences through the year, and the total cost is reasonable & lots of agents participate.

Not sure if this will help with the specific agent you have in mind, but attending pitch events (including those which are virtual) does provide a way to get an "in" with some agents who don't otherwise take unsolicited queries.

Is a crossover between chaos and clean possible? I think that's where I am right now...
