Ran to the ancestral plane
But they all showed up drunk and insane
When I asked what I could offer them
They said, "Gin and tonic or lithium"

l asked, "Which way should I go?"
And through cigarette smoke, they said
"Child, how would we know?"
Papa V has come into his own, now, and was soaring in Tulsa, this weekend, still having a good time with it.

There's an entire separate #Epstein scandal beyond the pedophilia stuff, in what it reveals about the country-club network of oligarchs and their hangers-on making sure the money and power stays inside the club.

It's been clear the game is rigged for decades, but here's a window into exactly how.
Andrew shared confidential information with Epstein as trade envoy, files suggest
Under official guidance, trade envoys have a duty of confidentiality over sensitive, commercial, or political information.

A reminder: there is not a single housing market in America—not one city, state, or county—where someone relying on SSI can afford a one-bedroom apartment.

Deaths like these are always preceded by engineered abandonment. Disproportionate homelessness among people with disabilities is no accident.
High rents outpace federal disability payments, leaving many homeless
Supplemental Security Income, a federal program meant to be a financial floor for people unable to work, hasn't kept pace with inflation. Many recipients are homeless, unable to save for an apartment.

Hundreds of kids are still detained.

We’ll let the children’s words speak for themselves. 🧵

During freezing temperatures in Port Arthur, Texas, a 61-year-old homeless man was found dead in his wheelchair outside a convenience store.

He was wearing a hospital gown and no shoes. Authorities say he had been released from a hospital the previous day.

This is a diseased society.

As the negotiations over DHS budget continue, please remember: the ICE detention budget alone was exploded in 2025 so it is now 62% greater than the entire Bureau of Prisons. People are not clocking what this infusion of cash to build concentration camps will do to our society.

This is Noam Chomsky talking about Cambodian refugees accurately describing the horrors of the Khmer Rouge that they’d escaped from.

This line in particular is why I’ve hated Chomsky for so long.
"refugees are frightened and defenseless, at the mercy of alien forces. They naturally tend to report what they believe their interlocuters wish to hear."

175 billion for ICE and detention centers in the GOP's billionaire bill.

This is what they're doing with the money. Building concentration camps.

And it's not going to be used for immigrants only.

These are government employees. So our tax dollars are funding ICE to flash white supremacist cards at vulnerable POC as an intimidation tactic. Who is giving this direction?

There’s something deeply sinister happening in this country right now, and I don’t think we can take three more years.
