Update on this: performed the surgery only to find the part was NOT compatible (even though the parts website said it was) so I have to return it. The new part is quite expensive & a new range is only a couple hundred more with BF deals so we're getting a new one delivered today.
Updated shipping has my new replacement cooktop getting here Sunday! That's a good day for me to perform kitchen appliance surgery.

Son1 just asked if his friend who came to stay with us can come back and bring his twin brother & that brother's GF because they don't feel safe loving with the twin's mom anymore & like yeah I just made a whole guest room with 3 entire beds in it we got room.

Y'all, as a kid who grew up food-insecure, plz don't do this. There is nothing more demoralizing as a little kid than being reminded of your family's poverty. We looked forward to Halloween bc it was the 1 chance to be like every other kid and get access to treats the food banks never gave out.
I don't know what's worse, the fact that I'm surprised by this headline or the fact that I probably shouldn't be:

At the ER with Bro2. Their billing specialist has given me the paperwork to fill out for his financial assistance for today's visit. I had to get special dispensation to keep son1 on my insurance past age 26, I can't add either of my brothers even though they are both completely dependent on me.
