Update: now that my retro setup is complete, my wife has become hopelessly addicted to Star Sweep (PS1). Dishes go unwashed and children go unfed as my wife languishes in a never ending battle with Temu-Sephiroth.

I can't help but notice that some of you tweet too much, while others do not tweet enough. It would be great if you all could sort that out, thanks.

My father was killed in a fake barn accident.

I swore revenge.

Still missing an AC adaptor for the PS2 and a coaxial for the NES. Back to the storage unit I go. Decent progress though.

Strange new kinds of metalinguistic negotiations taking place.
Truly incredible.
Trump on Mamdani: "We had some interesting conversation and some of his ideas are really the same ideas that I have. But a big thing on cost. The new word is 'affordability.' Another word is just 'groceries.' It's sort of an old fashioned word but it's very accurate."

After years of wanting to, I am finally underemployed enough to justify responding to a referee request at a for-profit journal with my own request for a consultancy fee.
