I was back in the Netherlands (where I was born and raised) last week where the same anti migration rhetoric by Putin'stooges is spewed. Twice I was asked without a trace of irony by people I used to know: "So does Scotland also have problem with all those foreigners?"
I was on BBC Scotland's Debate Night last night, this week coming from Lockerbie.

Misinformation on immigration is not only dangerous, it ignores how migration helps our public services and society.

Like so much else, Westminster simply isn't working for Scotland.

This, I use all sorts of AI/ML including genAI LLMs but very critical of what is rolled out and how it is sold, it looks like it might be transformative to society but not in a good way.
There are many types of AI/ML that are absolutely transformational in a good way, but the GenAI LLM now sold to the general public is transformational but not in a good way. Heroine and methamphetamine once were legal for general use, marketed as an transformative and early critics ignored.
I deleted it because bots started to amplify it and I didn't want to add to the misinformation out here.
Or 1 billion tiny ones, or 13 million bottles, or 6 million bottles, or even 3 million bottles, or even one very big bottle. Also the water is used but there is no water lost, it just is warmed up... I also think it is bad to waste so much energy but it is even worse to not use proper SI units!
Also AOC would not fit with Bij1 that well. She is more a very vocal, GL/PVDA. Although Bij1 is very "American-far left" with their identity politics etc, funnily enough there is no elected Democrat in the Senate or House that would fit them, not even Pressley or the other "Squad" members IMHO.
Yeah same for the term Liberal, that also means something slightly different in the US then what it would mean in Europe.
Sorry you are absolutely right! I misremembered the 2015-2019 period for the one today, I should have checked, normally I would. I would delete my post but you added something valuable in reply so I leave it.

It's mushroom season in the Northern Hemisphere 🍄

Here's a look at the chemistry of arguably the most iconic mushroom, fly agaric, and what makes them so brightly coloured and hallucinogenic: www.compoundchem.com/2024/11/11/f...

#ChemSky 🧪
Infographic on fly agaric mushrooms, with an image of the mushrooms in the middle (red with white spots). The chemical structures of the mushroom's pigments are shown, including muscarufin, the primary pigment responsible for their red colour. The compounds behind the mushrooms' psychoactive properties, ibotenic acid and muscimol, are also shown. These compounds imitate neurotransmitters in the brain to exert their effects.

Let’s stare into the far red 🏮. A stunning tour-de-force of high-resolution #CryoEM by Gio, Bill, & company reveals how the machinery of photosynthesis redshifts itself so cyanobacteria can live on far red light, deep in the cracks of rocks or under microbial mats. #PlantScience 🧪 🧶🧬 🌾 🔬 🌍
Have you ever looked at the night sky and wondered if there’s a chlorophyll f in the reaction centre of Photosystem I from far-red light adapted cyanobacteria? 🦠

Well, we did (don’t judge) and the work that followed is now out as a First Release in @science.org

Locating the missing chlorophylls f in far-red photosystem I
The discovery of chlorophyll f-containing photosystems, with their long-wavelength photochemistry, represented a distinct, low-energy paradigm for oxygenic photosynthesis. Structural studies on chloro...

Any foreigner going to study or work in Russia should know by now that they might up as cannon fodder. I feel a bit for the people who were really naive, but have a hard time believing they weren't Putin fan boys, why else would anyone go study in Russia in after 2014?

It's worse. Almost all cheap real black coloured olives you buy in most shops are sodium hydroxide and oxygen oxygenated and ferrous gluconate post treated unripe green olives. Very dark red fully tree ripened, fermented, brined olives do exist but they are rarely sold in the shops and expensive.

“Vuile kankerhond. Hoerenkind.”

Good sign she has not lost all her marbles yet.
Not sure what this is but it is not a accurate depiction of countries becoming formally independent of UK.
