Labour government “Red lines” and “Manifesto “ commitments have not stood the test of time, and contact with reality. What does strengthening ties with EU mean ? There doesn’t appear to be a trading category that has one foot in and one foot out

So people are pissed off cause they THINK reeves lied about the economy.
The economy is better than expected and the problem is they think she understated it.
Let’s look at Tories. Economy tanked, very little growth since Brexit and they continued to ACTUALLY lie it was good.
See the difference.

The Trump administration's strikes in Venezuela were ordered without Congress, without transparency, and without any justification to the public. These actions are reckless, unconstitutional, and dangerous for our national security.

Brexit was exactly that. A petulant door-slamming. A rejection of cooperation, protection and opportunity for all of us because the wealthy rightwing elites didn’t want to play by shared rules. And knew they could exploit ignorance/prejudice to achieve that.

Watched BBC 6 o clock news. Just a completely unserious broadcast. Chris Mason, acting like a children's entertainer, giving a prolonged impenetrable editorial. Not a whiff of informative content about the Budget or what it means for the country. Just playschool blah blah bollocks.

All of us: Why, in our judgement, Chris Mason is misleading on most political points, all the time.

Because he’s incapable of political commentary that isn’t marinated in his own rightwing bias. Allegations for Labour. Free passes for Tories/Reform. Every Single Time.

#UkrainianView
Russia is trying to use its propaganda machine to convince the EU+ but particularly the US that Ukraine is on the brink of defeat (it absolutely is not as the last few days have shown), and not worth their effort.
Their propaganda is

The OBR messed up, and the head of the OBR resigned.

There's a huge lesson in accountability there for politicians, though of course they will glibly ignore it.

Yorkshire Bylines recorded >2,000 of them from 2021-2024.
The Davis Downside Dossier
David Davis famously said there would be no downsides to Brexit only considerable upsides - so we started recording them.
